Baby one month old

Zi An is one month old today. Daddy is on leave preparing for exam on saturday. Rong front teeth came out last week.

Confinement medication

Fourth child already, but still don't know much about confinement practices. So is better for me to record it down!

One of the practice is to take the medicine call Su Ho Wan 苏合丸. The box says is traditionally used for symtomatic relief of cold, cough, to reduce phlegm and for woman after delivery.

In the capsule, there are small black pills of medicine. It is claim to be able to get ride of the "wind" after delivery.

Zi An 3 days old

Rare shot of her open eyes. Today ku ku and cousins came to visit us. My friend chin also came. What a busy day with message lady came too.

Baby finally arrived

The long wait ended on 9 nov 12.24am. Baby finally had enough comfort and was naturally delivered. A fast 2 hour delivery. Phew! Is all over now. The sibling visited us at night.

Zi en helping hand

Sunday went marketing with zi en. She volunteered to carried the flower i just bought for the baby basket. So cute. So got a lot of attention from passer by. The flower reaches her shoulder.

False alarm

Yesterday was a great rush for me as I notice the baby was tightening in the worm and pain kicked in 15 minutes interval for 2 hours. The tightening did not release as the pain went off.

I rush myself to the hospital only to find out that baby is not ready to see the world. Ha! Ha! Then we come back after 2 hours of observation in the delivery suite.

One thing was pleased to me is Rui actually took up the role of man in the house when daddy was on his way home. He volunteered to send me to hospital when daddy was cycling and did not pick up the phone. So we two flap a cab from the street, one minute after boarding the cab, daddy called and we u turn back home. Daddy took over thereafter.

He is a sensible boy now. Mummy proud of you, Rui. Thank you.

Salt dough making

The pre school kids are not going to school after their concert day. So they stay at home and teacher also gave them assignment on dough making. Tze Rong need to hand in the project on any food that make out of flour on Tuesday. He is holding on to his Pancake to be submitted. Zi En just have fun messing around.


This is the Hello Kitty Mini Cake I made for Zi En.
Here we are kneading out the salt dough and colouring to it. The teacher recipe with cooking oil make things very messy and oily. I prefered non cooking oil type, works as well.

Just don't know when baby will come. Contraction is happening every now and then....

Baby can come now, no more request from mummy and sibling anymore.

Rong graduation concert

The number two Rong is finishing his pre school. Primary school next year. Time flies, he once a baby sucking my milk. He was feed until 5 years old and now he has grown.

38 week check up

Everything goes on well. Baby engage aleady, ready to come out to see the world anytime now. My weight is 72.3kg today, a gain of 13kg since pregnancy. Baby is 2.8kg. She was 2.2kg two weeks ago.

I requested her to come out when she is 3kg, and tomorrow Saturday, is the concert day for Rong and En, and she was requested to come out after that.

Today, I could feel a few time contraction throughout the day. No more driving for me.

Yesterday, we nearly dash to hospital as there were three consequtive contractio n of 15 minutes. After that nothing happens. As I was driving yesterday, contraction actually happens, the pain good enough to distract me from the road. I actually had to slow down, keep to left lane for that few minutes.

You can be out after tomorrow concert, OK! We all look forward to see you.

For the baby

Just bought the chanting beads from awareness place in kwang ming shan. May baby and all being be well be happy.

36 weeks pregnant

Baby could be out anytime now. Already on Maternity Leave since yesterday.

I can feel baby dropping, Braxton Hicks contraction getting more frequent. Funny thing is baby still moving around a lot. Doctor is asking us to observe minimum 10 times movement daily, she has way more then that.

Today, I can feel a lot of discomfort at the lower abdominal, tingling pain around the Virgina area. Are you coming baby? Tomorrow 4:50pm see Doctor Loh in KKH. Can wait till then?

Jimma, my maid imitated my walking style just now. So Funny, walk like an elephant!! I said, you win. But really, walking 200m to me now seems really, really far!! I need to think twice to walk to market now, which is 300m away. I rather walk to the car park which is 20m away and drive to wherever I want to go!!

Shopping, forget about it. Today, I went IMM, park at 3rd floor, go Daiso gets some knitting yarn and niddle, less then 20 minutes, have to sit down already. After that walking to 2nd floor Popular bookshop, wonder around for some knitting book, but did not get any. Library or internet would be a better choice to avoid storage!

From there, lower abdominal start getting very uncomfortable. Suan suan, not pain! So I head back to the car in 3rd floor. Home sweet home.

Nobody can tell when she will be out.

Baby must work together with mummy to come out smoothly and no pain for mummy. Everyone in the family is looking forward your arrival, come out healthy and happy. Suck mummy milk once you are out. Sleep well and be a happy baby. We all love you baby. Looking forward to see you, to cuddle you and to kiss you.

Baby 19 weeks old

No 4 coming in 5 months time. I am half way through the pregnentcy. Hope to be a girl. High chance, doc said. At 14 week, baby is 64.4mm long from head to tail bone.

My mothers day meal

My first mothers day meal prepared by my 10 years old son who is good in cooking .

The kids were so happy with their own creation! Rong said was the best meal he ever had. Rui was assigned as the chief cook while Rong was his assistant, Auntie was the consultant!

They had great fun in the kicthen preparing the food, cooking and chopping away with occasion yelling form Rui giving out instruction to Rong. Rong was messing around more than helping! That's him!

Fire cracker play

We all 5 families go Malaysia, my kampong to burn away the reserved fire cracker from Chinese New Year. It was wonderful see everyone having fun guiding and encouraging their kids.

I realised not all kids dare to play fire cracker! I thought they will be delighted to experience the trill and exicitement of launching a "Moon Traveller". Instead some of them choose to watch others play.

I grew up playing yearly fire cracker. So do my children and other kids in the family. I took a back seat now, instead the kids always look forward to fire some fire cracker. The louder, the better!!

We have 5 families of 9 adult and 10 kids going in to kampong together. The kids has good time BBQ the food, as the "pit" was a brick above ground. Adults just wait and eat the cooked food if you think you stomach can handle!

It was a great Easter Friday.

Manage to create a human figure with 260 balloons of 3 different colours. Was instructed step by step by staff.

Ching ming jie

We all go malaysia batu pahat to clean thumb of kids great grand mother.

Heart 4 u

Created the heart shape decoration item placed on my piano. One for each child. The text was hand stitched, so do the outside profile of the felt red heart. Inside is stuff with polyester filling.

The base is wire curl around pen for the small section and water bottle for the taper section. It is then inserted into the heart. I made some other style too, including the bear hugging and string hanging style. Can be customise to any text with this design.

Rui earned enough money to pay 4 the ride. So as promised, we are riding. He still win me this time.

This is my favourate creation today. Little bear with 6 heart shape chocolate. I dont think if i got this present, i will eat the choco.

Rush out some product today. No more time as the day draws nearer. Very tired. Good thing is hubby took care of kids.

Today is the last day of this award winning annual event. The weather was good, cloudy day with passing rain.

Upon returning home, I actually realised that I got sun burn!

This is the third consecutive year I visited the show. It was quiet a disappointment actually. Nothing much. The kids also running around like monkeys. Next time I think better go with only one child to reduce the havoc.

Wow! Have a look! Spotted This pregnant fish yesterday and place it in isolation ready to give birth to protect the on the way young. The seperator was given to me by Chin.

Tall vase creation

Two more days to new year. We requested from the Ikebana teacher to have one more lesson before New Year and complied to our request. I brought along the 50cm tall vase. And there goes this arrangment. The flowers should last at least one week as they are really fresh.
